I was wondering if anyone can nail down all the differences between the mark 2 996 GT3 clubsport and comfort models?
As far as I can find out, it seems the clubsport model came with fire extinguisher, half cage, nomex covered carbon fibre seats rather than leather, seat harness mount bars, under bonnet engine kill switch, and as options (standard in the comfort) a stereo and air con. Both had the dual mass flywheel (unlike in the mark 1 series).
Is that it? I am not sure if both models were supplied with a front splitter, or not.
Performance wise, I am not sure of any difference between them (whereas there was more of a difference between the mark 1 clubsport and comfort)? Was there one?
There is a nice black mk 2 languishing at Barbagallo motors, masquerading as a clubsport, in need of a new owner....!
Thanks, Alex
