PORSCHE, PLANES & PICNICS

Here it is folks. Our Porsche, Planes & Picnic Run to Serpentine Airfield's annual Fly-in.

Meeting time is 9.00am at the carpark behind Fraser's Restaurant in Kings Park.

From there we will be given instructions to drive to the Aviation Museum, before continuing on to the Serpentine Airfield for lunch.

The weather is looking great for a Sunday cruise so what are you waiting for?

Some questions answered -:

Do people pack picnics?
Yes great idea as we will all eat on the side of the Serpentine Airfield so
bring picnic rugs and chairs if wanted to enjoy the passing activity.

Is there anywhere to buy anything?
Serpentine Aircraft Builders Club will be selling simple homemade
sandwiches, cakes and tea and coffee at the Serpentine Airfield so YES lets
support them and buy all of our tea and coffee and cakes from them and if
you are too lazy to pack a picnic - sandwiches.

Is it an alcohol free event or do people bring a bottle of wine to have with
lunch?
It's a picnic so by all means just obviously remember someone has to drive
the car home!

What time do you usually finish up?
We usually start to potter off at about 2:30 to 3:00pm is my experience of
past events, enough time for lunch, watch the planes fly past and stick our
heads in a few hangers.
