Ok our first "Fun Run" of 2012 is going to be one of the best yet!
Let your Porsche and your soul enjoy the freedom of WA's own Indian Ocean drive.
I have personally done this run myself and I can assure you that it is one of the best in terms of open roads & scenery. There is even a bit of twistie stuff too! You will have views of the ocean to the left and aussie terra firma to to the right. And if anyone gets lost they will need to buy us all a round because its an easy peasy route we will be taking.
We will be meeting at 8am for an 8.30 start (meeting place TBC but prob's gingers cafe again) on Sunday February the 26th and heading to Jurien Bay for lunch at the Sandpiper Bar.
A special lunch menu has been arranged at a cost of $15 each which will also include a middy of beer or glass of wine.
Register your interest by emailing me at edward@transquip.com.au.
PLEASE don't forget to include your numbers for catering purposes.
Cheers
Edward (ted) Roose.

A Big thanks to everyone who attended our last "fun" run on Sunday to Bolgart.
I am sure you all agree the run up there was "a blast" and the lunch and pub where fantastic.
We will deffo be doing another run to Bolgart in the winter, for either a lunch or an overnight stay. Watch this space!
Cheers
Edward.
Craig Woodman provided this link. It's worth looking at http://www.carsales.com.au/videos/2011/sports/porsche/porsche-rennsport-...
Check the loads of gear shifting.
Not to mention the crazy steering control required.
Numbers are down for the last sporting club event.
For any one who would like to have a bit of fun this Sunday morning without getting into trouble, we have this a big open carpark to play in.
Heres a vid from a year ago to give you an idea. Be sure to check Johns "handbrakies" at the end of it. Enjoy.
Contact Bill if interested, but be quick!
Forget the Ferrari, wait for the Porsche to arrive, nice ....

A big thanks to al members who attended the Vmax event.
Thank God for the good weather and everyone is in one piece as is all cars (although some pieces of some cars may still be lying on wyalie runway).
Look out for a "spirited run to nowhere in particular" I intend to host before (or just after) Christmas.
Cheers
Ted.
