2012 Earlybird Membership.JPG

2012 memberships to this great Club are now due.

Thank you to those that have already renewed.

As in prior years, we will draw one lucky member who renews BEFORE the 31st January 2012, and reward them with the 2012 Factory Calendar "Unlimited Fascination" as a prize. This calendar comes complete with the special Collector Coin, some fantastic Porsche photos and is valued at $96.50. That is almost your membership returned back to you!!

The winner will be drawn at the first Club Meeting of 2012, which will be held at Porsche Centre Perth on the 7th February 2012 at 7.30pm.

Renewing or joining for the first time is easy - just follow the prompt on our Home page.

Last Chance for Club Number Plates

PCWAPlate.JPG

We have been advised by the Department of Transport that due to low volumes, our Club Plates will be withdrawn and retired on the 12th October 2010.

There is now a requirement that these types of plate series meet a minimum sales requirement of ten sets per annum.

Members who have already bought a number plate in the Club Series, will continue to be able to apply for remakes. New plates will no longer be available.

So, if you want a Club Plate please let me know on jaychlo@q-net.net.au before the retirement date above.

General numbers such as birthdays etc are available for $325. There are some "Porsche" numbers still left, and these carry a small premium above the standard rate. (They are still cheaper than most customised plates)

Members can only choose the three numbers on the plate. The letters and Club logo remain the same on all plates.

Radar Detector Discount

I'm going to start a new forum topic about radar detectors shortly. I'd like to discuss all issues, advocacy, what they're like to live with etc. There's a lot of half truth's flying around, so it would be nice to get people posting their real world results and some background info about what's around and what to expect from them.  My dream is to have a kind of run-off where we get to test a few of the better ones in different situations and measure the results.
