At this stage no events have been confirmed for 2012.
If anyone wishes to organise an event I am more than happy to provide advice and do the CAMS paperwork.

Hey guys the Run To Nowhere in particular will be held on Sunday 11th December 2011. The Destination will be a secret and course maps handed out on the day and is the LAST CLUB EVENT for 2011.

Our meeting place will be:

Gingers Roadhouse‎, 1383 Great Northern Highway Upper Swan WA 6069
Get there at 9am for a 9.30am start.
NOTE: Please gather AROUND THE BACK so as to not upset the owner.

Please note we ask for a donation of $10 per person before we leave (payed to PCWA member Frank Bove) in support of the SMA Aust (the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Association) of which he is heavily involved in. Also your 10 bucks will put you in the draw to win a Digital Tyre Gauge worth $30 or some really nice tools etc worth $50.
As the run will be capped to just 20-25 cars you will have a 1 in 25 chance to win. This will be drawn over our (pre arranged) lunch at the destination.

Porsche Club of Western Australia - First V Max event at Wyalkatchem airstrip. Four high speed runs in a 1975 Porsche 911. Max speed recorded by in car Racelogic Data Logger. Max speed 215 kph.

As discussed at the last Club Meeting, the Porsche Club New Zealand has invited everyone to join them for Porsche Parade 2012 in the Taupo district, on the shores of the largest fresh water lake in New Zealand.

The Parade begins with a Cultural Welcome on the 8th February 2012 and the event runs to the 12th February 2012.

You will be based at the five star Hilton Lake Taupo.

Events on offer include -:

- a track day on the International A1GP track at Taupo Motorsport Park
- runs to vineyards in Napier
- a mystery photo run
- a photo rallye
- fun gymkhana
- trout fishing and claybird shooting on Lake Taupo
- a round of golf on a world top 100 international course
- prestigious Gala Dinner on Saturday night
- Parde procession around the locality

Porsche Club New Zealand has negotiated competitive freight costs and arranged secure storage once your car arrives in New Zealand.

As advised previously, K-Tec have a large racing & rally program this year.

Due to Carrera Cup committments for customers, they will not be available to hold for the April Meeting. Good luck with the racing guys.

Hi Members just letting you all know that this event has been confirmed for the weekend of Friday October 7th, with the 3 events (motorkhana through the streets in the morning and Vmax fun on the runway in the arvo and a static car display all saturday) on the 8th and going home on the 9th.

There will be (proper) entertainment on both friday & saturday evenings (ie bands, comedians etc). The entire region as well as hopefully many Metro punters will be flocking to Wyalkatchem for this event. We hope to create a real carnival atmosphere on the town for this weekend.

You can stay (and we hope you all do, just like the collie weekends) on Friday and Saturday night and leave on Sunday. However Wyalkatchem is only 160k's from perth so those that would rather sleep at home can make the trip up on the Saturday morning.

Porsche 996 GT3 vs 1976 wide body 964 'race car' compete for lap times in a three lap Super Sprint event at Barbagallo Raceway Perth on 5th February 2011. Well matched performance resulting in a difference of only 0.35 seconds. Lots of fun, thanks Allan.
